What color wristbands are used for each day this year?


For 2022, Saturday wristbands are orange and Sunday wristbands are yellow.

When is the next Alma Highland Festival and Games scheduled?


The official 53rd Alma Highland Festival and Games is now scheduled for May 28 & 29, 2022.

Are Pets Allowed?

Due to the change in venue, pets will not be permitted on campus.

Can I pay at the gate?

Yes, of course! At this time, we accept cash and check at the gate as well as credit card by Square. You can always contact our office if you need more information.

Am I allowed to bring in
my own food and drink?

Snacks and beverages are permitted on Festival grounds; however, you may not bring your own alcohol.

What about weather?

Our policy is, and always has been, that "the Festival must go on!" This means you may want to pack some rain gear and sunscreen because we will continue rain or shine.

When is the parade? 

The parade begins at 10:30 am sharp on Saturday and for 2022 travels from the corner of Park Avenue and Superior Street to head east downtown and then north on Pine Avenue to the Alma High School. You're welcome to bring a lawn chair for your comfort.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of parking around the Festival and its grounds. Handicapped parking is available at each designated parking lot.  The Official Festival Parking Lots are located in the Alma High School, Donald L. Pavlik Middle School, and Pine Avenue Elementary school parking lots, the cost is $10. There will be signs.  The City of Alma has many free parking lots downtown. (Please keep in mind "No Parking" signs and "Fire Lane" signs as these are means to have your vehicle towed).
