Tara

Detroit area musicians, Tom Dooley, Marilyn Hotaling, and Sally Kilcullen, have played with various area groups for over thirty years. For two years, they have played together as Tara. Celtic music is Tara's forte, which the group performs with finesse and enthusiasm. Tara is proud to be a part of the 2024 Alma Highland Festival.

A Celtic Trio

Featuring Hannah Harris on fiddle, Andy Strodtman on flute, and Bruce Alvesteffer on guitar, this power trio of musicians is excited to team up for the first time in providing lively sets of jigs and reels for you to dance along to! Harris, Strodtman and Alvesteffer met through the Alma Trad Sessions hosted every other Sunday afternoon at Ballyhoo Books & Brew, and have enjoyed playing a mix of Irish and Scottish tunes with one another over the past year."

 Highland Dancers from Mid-Michigan Highland Dance Academy and Auburn Glen School of Highland Dance.
