Cead Mille Failte
(One Hundred Thousand Welcomes)

Welcome to the 37th Alma Highland Festival and Games. We are pleased that you stopped in to visit our web page. On the following pages you will find information about our wonderful festival.

The Alma Highland Festival and Games began in 1968. The festival is located on the Alma College campus in Alma, Michigan. Each year, the festival brings visitors the very best of Scottish tradition. The festival combines great competition with Scottish hospitality.
We try to bring it all to you. The festival includes piping, drumming, and band competitions, along with traditional Scottish dancing and fiddling. If you want to find out more about Scottish tradition visit our clan tents.

How about watching nearly 1,000 pipers and drummers playing at once in a mass band. If you want to really experience the festival stick around and take part in our ceilidh (party) on Saturday night. There is much much more, but don't just take our word for it stop by and see for yourself.
